Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data RoleCall collects when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep the list short on purpose: RoleCall is a job board that reads openings from company hiring systems, and it needs very little about you to work.
Who we are
RoleCall operates this website and is the controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@getrolecall.com.
Data we collect
We only collect two things:
- Google account basics — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, calendar, Drive files, or any other Google data.
- A session cookie — a single cookie that keeps you signed in as you browse. It is strictly necessary for the site to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not build behavioural profiles, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
How we use your data
- Authentication — to verify who you are and keep you signed in.
- Your account — to create and maintain your RoleCall account and personalize the interface with your name and picture.
- Service messages — to send you important account or service notices where necessary.
We rely on your consent (which you give by signing in) and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working service as the legal bases for this processing.
Google user data
When you choose “Continue with Google”, our application accesses only the following Google user data:
- Email address — for account identification and service communication.
- Name — to personalize your account.
- Profile picture — for display within your account.
We use this data exclusively for authentication, account management, and personalization as described above. We never use it for advertising or for marketing to third parties, and RoleCall’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google may also process information about your sign-in under its own Privacy Policy.
Who processes data for us
We share the minimum data necessary with a small set of service providers who process it only on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations:
- Google — sign-in (OAuth) provider.
- Supabase — our database and authentication backend, where account records are stored.
- Our hosting provider — to serve the website.
We may also disclose data if required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and RoleCall. If RoleCall is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer as part of that transaction, remaining subject to this policy.
How we protect your data
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, access is limited to authorized personnel, and we practise data minimization — we store only what we listed above. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your data to the best of our ability.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your RoleCall account at any time, which removes the associated Google account data we hold. You may also email us at support@getrolecall.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and we will process it within 30 days and confirm in writing.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at support@getrolecall.com. We do not sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
Children
RoleCall is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we revise the “Last updated” date above, and we will give additional notice for material changes. Continued use of RoleCall after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
